First Thoughts: A tale of two Senates
“O]ne senator told us that he learned, for the first time, the actual cuts that the president has put on the table. Leadership hadn’t shared that list with them before.”
So, Romney is caught in a Presidential debate with his pants down claiming that Obama hadn’t called Bengasi a “terrorist attack” when he had, in a nationally televised news conference the day before.
Now, we have credible reports that members of the Senate are admitting that their own leadership hasn’t provided them the information needed to act together in leading this country.
Wait until these guys find out other facts like; The US Govt budget has already cut ~ $1.5 T from future spending, that the US Deficit is today about half, as a % of GNP that is was when Obama took office etc. Their old, white, brains will catch fire!
This leads to other questions though like - what do they and their staffs do all day except listen to the crap dished to them by their “political leadership” and watch F(au)x News / Glen Beck / Russ and eat ban bans all day? Besides the demonstrated ignorance of tools that can be used for information that they that showed a lack of knowledge of, as was obvious in the last Presidential election, like the 2010 Census, (that they sign bills to pay for, by the way) and leading edge stuff, like the internet?
O’Riley was obviously either uniformed or willfully ignorant of these kind of facts. What state of politics have we reached when many of the politicians of one party can be associated with one of the biggest, most ignorant TV blowhards of all time?
